Expansion is Underway!
AEF’s Milwaukie location is expanding! We began construction on the space next door last week and will be done before the end of the month. With this expansion, we will have roughly 2,000 square feet of space to use for a variety of fitness activities. We will also be bringing in a Massage Therapist who will have her own, private space in the back of the facility.
With this expansion, I will now be able to offer TEAM Personal Training! TEAM Personal Training is designed for individuals who like the specialization of private personal training, but who also enjoy working with others who have similar goals and perform at similar ability levels. Teams will be limited to six people. The goal of TEAM training is to create an environment where everyone is working together, supporting each other, developing friendships, and having fun while achieving their goals. The name says it all…Together Everyone Achieves More!
There will be two specialized TEAMs – TEAM Mommy and Me and Injury Prevention for Weekend Warriors.
TEAM Mommy and Me is designed for expecting Mommy’s and Mommy’s with infants. This TEAM will focus on safe exercise during pregnancy and safely returning to exercise after having the baby.
Injury Prevention for Weekend Warriors is an ideal TEAM to join for those who love getting out on the weekends and going for a run, playing soccer, golfing, throwing the ball with the kids, you name it. This TEAM will focus on cross training and making sure all you weekend warriors stay pain free while doing what you love!

Watermelon on a Stick
What you need:
1 Watermelon, cut into “triangular” sections (rind on)
Insert Popsicle stick into the rind of the watermelon. Enjoy!
If you want a frozen treat, after inserting the Popsicle stick, place the watermelon sticks into the freezer until they reach your desired “chilledness” and consistency.
