25 Things I am Thankful for – Fitness Edition #20 Protein Powder
Protein powder is a great supplement to have on hand. I use it in shakes, pancakes, muffins, bars, cookies, etc. There are many different types of protein powder out there. Some are great for baking, while others are not. I can’t say that I have tried all of them, but of the few that I have tried, Max Muscle’s Max Pro is my favorite. It is very versatile, it is a good quality whey protein, and it tastes great. They have many different flavors so I never get bored with just plain old vanilla and chocolate. I am currently enjoying banana…it makes great protein pancakes! I strongly encourage all of my clients to get their calories and nutrients from real, whole food, but there are times when supplements come in handy and protein powder is a great supplement to have on hand!
